We are a small community
serving a variety of faith traditions,
who gather to better understand
God's will for our lives
and  to serve the least of Jesus' sisters

and brothers in God's earthly kingdom.

This historic building has served the Village of Munsonville since 1819...
first as a Baptist Church, then a Unitaritan Chrurch, a Union Hall that also  hosted
dances, shows, occasional religious meetings, Sunday School sessions
and the Granite Lake Grange #115.

Chapel by the Lake (UMC) was purchased by the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1891
and remains a community meeting place for AA, joggers, knitters, the Granite Lake Association,
the Granite Lake District, Munsonville's shared Defibulator (AED), and
weekly worship serving a small, diverse faith community from Munsonville, Nelson, and Stoddard.

The Munsonville community graciously helps preserve the integrity
of this historic building by supporting:
lavish community breakfasts, 4th of July BBQ Chicken Take-out,
annual Yard Sale, AppleFest and Craft Fair, Cupcake Spectacular...
and through direct donations.  We are blessed... indeed!
